About Us

Rodzimy is a project created to help rediscover Polish heritage and history through the perspective of mass press and unique period documents.

Our Mission

We believe that history recorded in old newspapers, magazines, and documents deserves a second life. Our goal is to bring Polish cultural heritage closer to modern readers, showing how our ancestors lived, thought, and what they read.

What We Do

We scan, perform OCR, clean up, and process old articles, images, and ideas to present them on modern devices. Every document passes through our hands before it reaches the digital archive.

Team

Currently, Rodzimy is created by two people — Victoria and Alexei Shulga. Together, we handle everything: from scanning and digitization, through editing texts, to design and programming.

Collaboration

We are open to collaborations and gladly accept scans of your old documents and materials. If you have interesting archival materials that you would like to see in our archive, please write to us.
